Over all, the room was okay but the restroom, I was quite disappointed, it was too small and the doors don't even have lock.

The location is great, all the interesting places in hk are easy to reach. The hostel looks a bit strange in the first moment, but all in all it was a good stay.

They were out of rooms on the 13th floor so the friendly staff sent me down to the 8th. What I got was a spotless, secure, quiet room. It doesn't have the communal environment of some hostels but for Hong Kong it's a great deal if you just need a place to crash for a night. At this price you could do a whole lot worse. Recommended.

it\'s not just claustrophobic, the room is tiny and it has no windows. it\'s like living in a box. the location is ok. Wifi is not available in room. Wifi in the reception is not great either. the reception is on lvl 13 but some rooms are on lvl 10 - it was AWESOME running up and down with huge backpacks on the stairs, because the lifts are VERY busy.
Would not stay here again. One night was too much

My room was the smallest hotel room I have ever used. A bed, with space one end, and a toilet/shower cubicle.
It's in a crumbling old block, but the accomodation is practical though, and I was comfortable.
The big plus with this hostel is the location, and the ease of online booking. The building is next to an entrance to Tsim Sha Tsui station, and right by Kowloon Park.

clean and very cheap. Area around is best for travelers, in walking distance you could almost find everything you want.

Would be perfect if there's even a common room, but was already a very nice place, espeically considering the price is really cheap. Clean room and nice staffs.

Never expect to get a hostel in HK the same as Europe's, you all know that HK land is expensive, hostels in hk are all quite small. but the thing is, hotels is a lot more expensive. so that'why i would choose New Garden Hostel and I think I already get what I paid. Staffs are excellent and helpful, the building is quite safe as compared with the Chung King Mansion in the next block. If you only want a place for comfortable and quiet accommodation like me, I would suggest New Garden Hostel.
