If you are one of those backpackers that is looking for people to party w/ than this is a good hostel for you. However, it is also pretty clean, and the building is amazing. It's a tiny bit far away (high up on the jubilee line), but the location is pretty accessible. My room was right next to the bar, and ppl were up late partying, but i just put earplugs in and didn't have any problems. Free wifi, which is a plus, but a lot of the outlets i tried had problems.

Good things: the building is beautiful, the internet free and fast, close to a underground station, shops and restaurants and it has a nice bar. Not so good things: they have a problem of communication with the reception people because each night I stayed there someone arrived saying that was their bed. We arranged because it was a mistake of the person that checked us in but the next day it happen again. The third day they even broke open my padlock to take out my stuff. All this was a bit anno

Great place to stay in London. Helpful staff and the hostel is really cool. Bar was a really affordable and fun place to hang out and meet people. The hostel is also close to a tube station which makes it very easy to get around.

It's absolutely an amazing place. The atmosohere is so great that often makes you think you're in a guest house instead of a lodge. I totally recommend it!

I was in London to visit an old friend. She left for Bayern and I didnt have a place to stay. I hate hotels so I decided to find something else. I found Palmers Lodge and It was a good experience. The shed outside had a bad door though and seemed easy to break up.
The staff was exellent and I slept really well. Also nice that the launge is open all night with wifi. well... im not young anymore but It was an overall good experience. I recommend It anytime. Im danish but I live in Sofia. Hotels j

this was like staying in a nice hotel... and the people we met were absolutly amazing by having a pub in the hostel it allows for social intereactions that otherwise would be more difficult. and everyone was amazing i met friends i will never forget!!

The tenants can be more friendly and more wellcoming, but overall is a good hostel, I range it 80. I also got good sleep which is very important for me.
