The hostel is well maintained even though the rooms were tiny. I would recommend it to any budget traveller planning to stay near the Khao San Road and looking for just a bed for a peaceful night's sleep. Vijesh, from India ~ 22nd Nov 2009

PROS 1. 1 minute from Khao San Road 2. Close to KSR, but very quiet 3. Koi Pond and rustic charm 4. Only 9 rooms 5. Staff is generally friendly though some could smile more, but nobody is unfriendly. Very close to Khao San Rd, off a small alleyway so you are protected from the noise. Cute front setting, with coffee/toast provided in the morning. We had a tiny room, not much space for our things. Peter, from Australia ~ 16th May 2009

My room was given to someone else. Though they apologized and offered to give one night for free, the mistake is enough for me to never want to stay there again, or recommend the place to others. Poor service and untrained staff. Mandeep, from Canada ~ 4th May 2009

Big problem was the AC was not working (and it was REALLY hot!) and the mattresses were on the floor (no bed frames). The front desk lady gave us a modest partial refund then was able to move us to a much more comfortable, and cool room the next night (with prompting). Without the first, miserable night on the floor and without AC, I would have been totally happy with our stay. Jenny, from USA ~ 10th May 2009

Geat place to stay on Khao san - close to all the action, but quiet at night. Very homely authetic feel to the hostel from the minute you arrive. Staff were friendly and helpful. My only drawback would be that the rooms are very small - (it was difficult to squeeze my rucksack in next to the bed) Clean, bright shared bathrooms. Will stay here again!
