Great staff and very nice rooms. Location a bit out of way, but a tram stop right nearby. Nathan, from USA ~ 1st Dec 2011

What a cool find! The location is not great for seeing "the sights" of Prague, but there are easy ways for getting into the city within minutes. Most of us walked the distance once or twice and was no problem! Great character, fun people, and you CAN'T beat the outdoor patio, kitchen space and basement bar. Very cool place and a very cool price. Margaret, from USA ~ 25th Sep 2011

I may have spent just one night at Sir Toby's, but I'm glad to say it's been one of the best hostel experiences I've ever had. There are wonderful people to meet - and yes, this includes the staff. Speaking of which, I also appreciate the fact that the staff will bend over backwards to satisfy every whim a particular guest may have. The latter may sound like an understatement, but believe me, it's what separates the good hostels from the best. This is definitely a place worth recommending. Robert, from Belgium ~ 22nd Sep 2011

Extremely helpful and hospitable staff, they joked and had fun the whole time I was there. Great building with a lot of character, secure places for valuables. The pub was great and reasonably priced, there was always an event planned every night. It is a great place to meet people. The only thing I could think of was that it is a little far outside of the major downtown, but it is only a very short tram ride away, so it's not a big deal. This place has set a very high benchmark for hostels! Andrew, from USA ~ 27th Aug 2011

I love this hostel! Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They got their old and antique style in the hostel. Nice kitchen and breakfast. Even though you have to pay around 5EURO for the breakfast, it's the best breakfast I ever had in a hostel! All-you-can-eat, with pancakes and fried your own eggs! It's the first time I can have my breakfast and feel full without any bread in a hostel. Zoe, from Hong Kong ~ 28th Aug 2011

This is actually one of the best hostels that I have been to. This place has such interesting character and it is just overall very nice and so so clean. I felt very secure in this place since you need to use your key multiple times, though this could become a problem if you're really drunk. They have a very nice bar downstairs in the basement and also a backyard area...great for meeting new people. The hostel is not very close from Old Town but considering how small Prague is its not very far. sara, from USA ~ 19th Aug 2011

Especially, female staff who managed here in the evening of 8.3 was BEST. She explained tram lines, important places, and she recommended me good restaurant, menu, etc. She helped me a lot. I really appreciate her.

Excellent hostel! The staff were incredibly friendly and I was impressed that they always had activities going on in the evening to engage the guests. There is a ton of character here as well, starting with the room names! I'd stay again here again if I return to Prague! Mike, from Canada ~ 9th Aug 2011
