There is no such thing as a free meal... Yes, there is. When we arrived at the hostel, they invited us to spaghetti with meat sauce - a good start. The hostel is very clean, everybody has his/her own locker (padlock included). The only disadvantage is that it is not so central, but the metro can be reached in 3 waking minutes. In all: very, very nice place.

It is underneath street level and some rooms doens't have a window which is a bit claustrophobic. But there is airco and in the rooms with window that can't open. Could get quite hot in a room. The twelve bed rooms are not so nice, a lot of noise. The 6 are better. Kitchen is good has stove no micro. It has free internet which I'm using right now!
Great neigbourhood too!

Location, whilst a little outside of town, was no problem considering the T-bana station just down the road. Plus where else could I find free pasta and free tea? Very nice! Superbly clean and modern, too.

Skanstulls City Hostel was amazing, as it was really clean and well organized; the kitchen was great as well.
The only thing was that the fire alarm went on in the middle of the night and due to the fact that there was no one from the hostel staff, nobody knew what to do. Some guys finally figured out how to turn it off, I just think that there should always be someone from the hostel staff at the hostel, even during the night. The hostel was nice, but unfortunately I had to pay SEK 100,-- for the key, which I never got back. We had to leave at 7 o'clock in the morning. And the reception opened at 8. Thats a pity! I would have loved to have my money back, as I also returned the key
