It is just a place to sleep, nothing more, very basic. Rooms are shoeboxes without windows, but aircondition worked.
Staff is friendly. No place to meet with other visitors exept in the waiting line for the shower.

The room was small, dirty, with no windows. The air-conditioning left us breathless at night and freezing in the morning. The bed was unmade, there were holes in the sheets and stains on the towels. Even cheapness has its price!

Room was really super small and not properly ventilated. Place seemed a bit sketchy but further rest ok. Four bathrooms on the "ground floor". Not very clean but still ok. Noisy at night. But nothing too really complain about for this price.

Location is very good - near Chinatown and little Little Italy for food -check around for bargain places to eat. It is not a hostel to hang out with other hostelers -there is no lounge, no kitchen. But it is reasonably clean. The owners are Burmese Chinese, and there is sometimes a language problem, but by and large, they are cordial. There are cockroaches - it is New York after all, but they don't bother you. Just keep your luggage and bags closed so you don't carry any home with you. I must ha

Great location in the heart of Chinatown and near Little Italy. The metro subway is only a couple of blocks. Hard to beat their price for a private room. Yes, the rooms are very very small and basic but clean, as were the bathrooms, cleanest especially in the afternoons. The security was good and the staff courteous. Yes, the walls and doors are thin, but I found the place to be rather quiet while there. This is a reasonable place for someone who just needs a room to sleep and refresh while

well located in NYC, in chinatown. this hotel is small. the rooms are VERY small and have no windows! there is no space to put your luggage! each room has a tv, and some rooms have a sink. the walls are so small that you can hear everything from the room next door and the corridor.

In fact when I arrived to sun bright hostel I was moved to another hotel from the same company: Windsor hotel. I was unexpectedly clean and some of the staff were very polite. Just one bad point: on the website the taxes for the reservation weren't included, so paying the total amount due was a little bit higher.

Unfortunately, the sun bright hotel was booked full when we arrived, so they referred us to their friends at the WORLD HOTEL across the street for the same price. So here I have critiqued the world hotel.
The hotel was great. The entrance steps looked like they were recently remodeled and were very welcoming. They had to buzz us for admission, so I felt very safe. The location was good... it took us a little bit of time to become familiar with the lay of the land-- but New York is a ver
