This is my favorite hostel in the Americas to date. Rooms were spotless, beds were comfortable, there was a toilet room and a shower room right in my 8-bed suite (and 2 sinks total). The staff (I had the most dealings with Michael) were soooo nice. Quite a contrast to the staff at the NY HI I stayed at a few years back. Areas of concern: a few of the beds in my suite squeaked a lot and the lockers were tiny (appeared to be old high school lockers). Good job Wanderer's Inn! LISA, from USA ~ 9th Nov 2009

No complaints at all ...we each had our own bathrooms, they were clean, there was a nice common area, stocked with food, wireless and more ...i might mention though, you need to bring your passport, even if you are an american adam, from USA ~ 24th Oct 2009

I stayed with two other friends just for one night, staff was nice but please don't forget ur passport (I live in the US so I don't carry it all the time) but the staff was nice and let us stay, the shower and restroom were very clean and the beds average clean, I'll go again if I need to. We stayed here for two nights. Even though it is situated in very beginning of Harlem we felt pretty safe and didn't have any problems. Rooms were clean but very small (private double rooms), bathrooms and common area were cleaned on daily basis. Subway station is close, so it was good starting point. What we really liked was filling breakfast and funny and very helpful receptionist, who helped us with any information needed.
