The staff were very friendly and the location was great. It was very close to the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain, but they don't change the sheets and they have bed bugs. I was bitten several times. I noticed the next day that when another person checked out from my room the blood from his sheets was still there after the person had checked out. I saw when they "cleaned" the room and trust me it was not clean at all. Maria I, from USA ~ 4th Aug 2011

A very good located hostel, just in center of Rome, near the Termini station. The rooms are cleaned everyday. The staff is very helpful, I recommend to everyone. If I am going back to Rome, I will surely chose them again. Robert, from Romania ~ 5th Aug 2011

they put the wrong address in the advertisment, then they oblige you to go to another place with no help. the ceck in is very very late (14.30 PM) and they close whole noon because of "cleaning time". I was with heavy baggage and a baby. They didn't care for the inconvinience, treat us very very rude, they don't have any will to help you with your trip, the place is not clean, and when I was there a person in the dorm was robbed. Big disappointment. The name was so cool... Facts: • I stayed at two ducks hostel from the 18.07.2011 till the 20.07.2011 in Deluxe doublebed private ensuite. • The room is not located at the address of the hostel, it's only a 10 minute walk, but after 4 hours in train and with backpacks it wasn't very pleasant. • It was not possible to pay with the credit card! In Rome, the capital! I could do it even in a hostel in Corniglia! • The bed is quite small not a double one for sure. †Irina, from Russia ~ 23rd Jul 2011

The hostel had overbooked so our private room was given away and we were given a shared room at a cheaper price. The shared room was in another building a couple of blocks from the main hostel. The host was helpful in helping us get nice roommates (he roomed us up with two young pretty girls from Portugal), but the place was a bit nasty: toilet seat not attached, shower door falling off, bad smell and clutter on the bathroom balcony. I am hoping the place just wasnt really ready but was given to Christopher, from USA ~ 7th Jun 2011

Nothing special - the things you will have is a bed to sleep in and a common fridge. There is a TV that didn't work. And there is a kitchen with utensils, but somehow I couldn't get the stove to work, so cooking is under question. Location is good, and the price is good in comparison for a budget traveler. There was not a place to lock valuables, but the rooms were through 3 sets of locks (front door, apartment door, room door). There was only one bathroom for four four-bed rooms, but I didn't find that it was ever a problem. Snacks are provided for breakfast, and the beds are clean and comfortable. Conveniently located very near Termini (and thus the main metro line) and several restaurants. Allison, from USA ~ 24th Apr 2011
