Love this hostel! It's cheap, right next to the Mariahilfer strasse and a great place to meet people. I would recommend it to everybody! The other Wombat hostel - the lounge is also the best.

excellent hostel with a great bar for meeting people! its about a 10/15 minute walk away from all the main vienna sights.

Overall I really have just wonderful things to say about the Wombat's hostel in Vienna! I just got back from a trip around Europe with my boyfriend (we just graduated college in the US) and we stayed for one night at this hostel this past weekend (8/23-8/24). I had a bad experience with a hostel previously and was a bit uneasy about it, but we were greeted to an easygoing atmosphere, friendly service, impeccably clean and big room, cheap bar & food with great ambiance (that really got going o
