Decent place for the price. No soap for the toilets or towels included. Bring your own and locks for the lockers. The place charges 3.5 pounds for one small worn looking towel. Breakfast is good. Showers are clean. Nice crowd of people stay there.

I suffer from breathlessness , I am 52 yrs old. Inspite of having rooms available on lower floors the two young girls at the check-in desk gave me 2nd floor. Was this racism bcoz I was Indian ?. I have been staying in youth hostels all over the world since a very young age. This is the first time I have encontered this attitude.The two gentlemen who were at the front desk when I left were very helpful.

Room 24: Under the mattress and some linen were dirty. My friend had a bad time there because she's allergic to powder dust.

This is a really nice hostel with an amazing location. They have a HUGE common area, with a (limited hours) cafe, TV room, and reception area. The staff is around 24-hours, and they use a buzzer to let people in, not only to the lobby, but also the storage room. They have laundry facilities, too, which was great. My only complaints are that they moved me my 2nd night and that there is a dearth of power outlets.
