Booking on Hostels.com does not work very well, I booked for 4 beds, only one was waiting us...

i stayed in room number 23 a 4 person private. it was raining the day i stayed and half the floor in our room was soaked! it stunk like mold and you could even see the mold growing on the ground. the rest of the place was nice enough but beware of rainy days and moldy floors

I was charged $ 2 more than what hostel.com indicated balance.when i questioned this the receptionist said the advance i paid the hostel.com,the downtowner inn does not get it goes to hostel.com so i had to pay the advance i already paid again. I also made a booking with another hostel around the corner through hostel.com they charged me exactly what was indicated in advance. I do not recomend downtowner inn and i will not stay there again.
