spent a week-end in Oaxaca for Dia de los Muertos - what great fun!!! The Hostel whit its pretty colorful mexican character is conveniently located near Centro Historico. The rooms could have better ventilation. Free Internet and Breakfast was a nice extra bonus. The staff is very friendly and extreme helpful. Met travelers from all over the world - never a dull moment. Would definitely recommend Hostel Meskalito. thanks for a great time.

The place is actually okay, but the staff is quite anoying and doesn't speak any english, which means that tour-booking can be a bit difficult. And we experienced that someone came into our (private)-room in the middle of the night, which of course was a very unexpected and uncomfortable surprise!!
