Staff not the most polite...always act bothered by the guests. No AC. Windows have no screen, so flying beach flies swarm the room in the morning. Rooms are cramped. Be prepaired to haul your stuff up 2-3 flights of steep stairs. Very expensive for a Hostel of this caliber.

Great location, right on venice beach. Better to stay here than in hollywood. Hollywood gets old after a couple of hours, but the ocean is always great. Nice breeze from the ocean keeps room cool. No elevator! Four bed girls dorm was actually five, they added a really uncomfortable cot. It was really great having the washroom per dorm. Would definitely come back.
