After staying in numerous large commercial named and very modern so called \"backpackers\" we were pleasently susprised with the character and quirkyness of this true backpackers hostel. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. We could not have asked for anymore. Thanks Buddy !

It's tough to get to bed before 2 or 3, the showers weren't working, and it's a bit messy and smoky, but they're really nice, you get to know everyone pretty well, and the breakfast is great (cakes baked by his mother).

the owner was really nice, and the location was good. there was only one bathroom for 12 people, but that was not a problem the two days i spent there, no hot water when i was there though. it was easy to talk to the other people staying there because of the good atmosphere, and i had a really good time!

This place was amazing. The staff was nice and helpfull and the atmosphere in the hostel was incredible. The only bad thing about this place was the lack of hot water, but it was only a temporary thing (and it is probably fixed by now) and it gives you a good excuse to visit one of the thermal baths in Budapest.

Truely an amazing place. The guys working there are awesome,laid back,cozy and chill...total comfort.Food given throughout the day.I loved this place & would highly recommend it for a chill atmosphere.A few downfalls were there were no lockers, but trusting everyone there was not an issue.Also, no hot water the 2days I stayed & the water was freezing cold.water heater was broke.Great Budapest experience.
