While staying in New York I stayed in 3 hostels, this one was the last one we stayed in and it was a HAVEN compared to the others. Loved it! If I return to NY I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else... a tad bit out of the main touristy areas but if you throw your luggage out the front door they will land in the subway, so close so handy! Well impressed!

Clean, neighborhood reasonably safe, quiet inside at night, easy walk to nightlife or you can take the subway which runs most of the lines 24/7. No lockers but the staff is always around and all the guests were cool so I feel safe leaving my stuff out. Kitchen has free milk/cereal in the morning and is a great place to meet other people. Deli/convenience store next door is open 24/7 and McDonalds across the street. Only complaint is sinks in bathroom are tiny and no public computer.

It's a very nice place and a very nice people. Close to the metro included breakfast and internet. It could be more clean but in general I recomend it
