i stayed in soi1 for only one night and it was just fine. I liked the way that they try to keep the place as clean and they are doing a very good job. The staff seemd friendly and i absolutely loved all the humorous little notes and memos left by David on the walls, giving you very good tips on Thailand and Bangkok.

This hostel is amazing. The staff make it such a friendly place to be. The common room is like your own living room at home. It's so easy to make friends. This was the 1st hostel I stayed at on my 2 month trip, and I already know the others won't even be able to compare!

Ignore the negative comments - this is the place to be for fun and meeting other people...just make sure you book your next stop otherwise you may not end up leaving!!! The hostel is in a great location and the staff are awesome. As many others have mentioned Dave is a fountain of knowledge (thanks for the Kanchanaburi advice) but a mention must also be given to Nai who is amazing and Jimbo! One last point... The hostels' Green curry is the best in Bangkok!

Really laid back guesthouse run by extremely kind and helpful owner/staff. The aircon was amazing and the rooms and bathrooms were kept clean.
