Staff wasn't very helpful. We tried to check in at 9:30am and the girl told us we couldn't check in until 10am, which was fine. We waited there until 10am and she just sat at the reception desk doing nothing. So we said we would go use the internet down the street and come back (which is very cheap compared to the price at the hostel). When we came back at 11:30am, she made us wait longer for the room and just continued to sit at the reception desk doing nothing. Odd. Finally at 11:40am we were allowed to go to our room. 5 stories up. No shower curtain really made our bathroom gross and continuously wet. Our room wasn't cleaned the second day but it was on the third day. Breakfast consists of vegetables, fruit, and bread which was fine. Location is excellent and is right next to the metro.

Our room was a little dirty but nothing completely disgusting. The rooms upstairs seemed cleaner and nicer so it might have just been bad luck. We reccomend this hostel based on its security and location.

Although very spartan hostel, and had to climb four and a 1/2 flights of stairs to our room, our room was very clean and quiet. Staff were very helplful too. Fab location also - to the metro and to the sights of Athens. Breakfast okay; not a selling point though.

The owner was great and willing to help us with anything. There was free pick and drop off to the port which saved us a lot of hassle. The pool area is great and there are lots of areas outside to sit and relax. I'd definately stay there again.

no lift, the place is a little bit noisy... no supermarket near the hostel(the closest one that i have found is next to omonia square)... i had some questions about sightseeing outside athens but i didnwt get any answers....
