After a lovely night's sleep, there's nothing like a lovely breakfast where mother Teresa's homemade cakes and compotes are the highlight - cannot be missed.

A stroll through the Quinta could be the next part of the day, or a visit to the historic town Alenquer and Montejunto Mountain, or enjoy some of the best Portuguese wines on the Wine trail or the West's beautiful beaches like Peniche, Santa Cruz, Nazaré and the Berlengas islands - a maritime nature reserve of rare beauty - are particularly noteworthy.
