Hostel Utopia is a combination of a hostel and a budget accommodation in the center of Amsterdam. Hostel Utopia is situated next to the famous Dam Square which is also only five minutes’ walk from Amsterdam Centraal Station.
Many restaurants, pubs, discos, coffee shops, the casinos, and theatres are situated around this famous square. There is no doubt that Hostel Utopia is an excellent starting point to discover most charms of Amsterdam.
We also have a hostel owned coffee shop which is the famous Coffee Shop Utopia downstairs so that our dear customers could enjoy joints as well in our hostel.
Our multi-lingual hostel staff are well known for their very friendly service and they will make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible' providing you with excellent excursion packages, out-of-the-city trips and bicycle-car rentals.

Customer service was great. Small mix-up with a booking solved easily and minimal fuss.Dorms were clean, but some lockers didn't work! :( Lack of plug Sockets in the room, but 3 for an 8 bed dorm isn't bad if you have understanding "neighbours" Overall, very good! Piero, from England ~ 5th Mar 2013

If you don't mind mice on the ceiling, it's a decent hostel. It really is what you get with that money. Bed and a good location. Had to sleep lights on so those mice wouldn't creep up on my doritos. Coffeeshop downstairs is a plus, staff was ok. If they just took care of that mouse problem and painted their walls, I would recommend this. Pekka, from Finland ~ 25th Feb 2013
