This new HI hostel is situated east of the centre in a typical Amsterdam neighbourhood. The city's must-see attractions are but a fifteen-minute cycle or tram trip away. The tram stops only 200m from here, putting us just 10 minutes from Rembrandt Square.
You can take a tour of the canals by boat, visit world-famous museums or head off shopping along the colourful Kalverstraat - and there's always plenty to do at the hostel in the evening!
We’re housed in an amazing building, a former school dating from around 1900. This enables visitors to enjoy the ultra-modern facilities in classical settings.
Our hostel is ideally suited to accommodate (large) groups, providing access to various multifunctional areas within the building.
The bedrooms are all spacious and feature private sanitary facilities. All rooms are designed by the famous Dutch designer Edward van Vliet.
Our hostel also has its own cafe/restaurant and will be sharing the building with a cinema and theatre - a truly fantastic entertainment combination!
You can rent a bicycle right our reception desk. Breakfast and city taxes are included!
Stayokay is part of the Hostelling International organization. Hostelling International members receive a discount of €2.50 per night. All Stayokay hostels have the European Eco-label.
The hostel is part of the HI (Hostelling International) Organisation and guests with an IYHF membership can benefit of a €2.50 discount per night.

El hostel está ubicado muy lejos del centro. Las habitaciones no tienen caja fuerte. No ofrecen toallas, shampoo, ni jabón, todo hay que comprarlo. Las alfombras están muy manchadas, dando sensación de suciedad. Las camas son incómodas y el hostel es bastante ruidoso, incluso a altas horas de la madrugada. A favor, el desayuno es muy abundante, cuenta con un bar que tiene precios accesibles se puede cenar un menú fijoa un precio razonable. Seguramente, Amsterdam tiene mejores opciones... The hostel is definetely the best that I've been. I loved everything. The room is really clean and spacious. The ambiance of the hostel is pretty nice too, it's beautiful. The location its not the best, but it has a bus stop just beside of the entrance. olga, from Brazil ~ 1st Apr 2013
