关于 Beijing Downtown Backpackers

Welcome to Downtown Backpackers!
We offer clean and comfortable accommodation at affordable rates! There is travel information at the front desk. We provide train & aeroplane ticket booking, youth hostels booking, transportation service, parking, reservation of opera shows, acrobatics shows, kung fu shows, hiking, the Great Wall tour service and much more. If you have any questions about travel, please ask us at the travel desk and we will be happy to help you.
We have three kinds of double rooms:
1/Double room with window for 190rmb per room per night.
2/Twin bed room(2 single beds) with skyllight for 170rmb per room per night.
3/Double room without window(dark) for 150rmb per room per night.
About private 3 bed rooms:
1/private 3 bed room with window for 255RMB/room/night
2/private 3 bed room with skylight(top window) for 225RMB/room/night
But, they are not in the basement, and also, they have private bathroom,shower and air condition inside, as same as other normal rooms with window.
You must pay attention when you book a room,you should know the room price then you will know which kind of room you booked.
Airport pickup service. This is available for those staying with us for 4 consecutive nights or more if you booked a whole private room.Not for scattered beds in dormitory.
We will pick you up from the airport (only Capital International airport) for free for one time, you just need to pay 20RMB for the toll and parking fee(11rmb/hour). Please inform us of your flight number and landing time 2 days before your arrival. Please be aware that if we wait for you more than half hour, you must pay the parking fee.

Moreover, for those interested in Beijingnises everyday life, our local tricycle drivers can show you each HuTong around Downtown, and you will even be invited into some Beijingnises home.
Our principle is to help you to save every cent in your trip, and so, breakfast is included in the room price.

It's a good hostel within walking distance of a number of interesting things in Beijing (like the Forbidden City, the Lama Temple, and the Drum and Bell Towers), it's in a historic neighborhood, and it's close to the nearest subway and bus stops.The staff is helpful and friendly, plus they organize a number of interesting programs (including trips to the Great Wall, as well as different cultural experiences).All in all, it's a good hostel. This was a nice hostel, great location and with a free breakfast too! The only one we got in China! The dorm was fine and bathroom clean, my only point to make was that if you are a lone traveller it might not be the best option. There is only one tiny tv room to socialise in, which could hold maybe 5 people and was rarely used. So not the best for meeting people in our experience but the hostel is in a great location and is a nice place to stay. Esther, from England ~ 12th Jan 2013
