Farset International in Belfast, Northern Ireland

The standards of cleaniness and the helpfulness of the staff were outstanding. The room was basic, as in most hostels, but the bed was comfy and there was no noise from neighbouring rooms or outside. The only downside is the location. It's not a city centre hostel and although there is a bus service into town it is limited and doesn't run on Sundays meaning a 45 minute walk or a £5 taxi ride (which reception will happily call for you) - not brilliant if you're on a tight budget.
