Lagan Hostel in Belfast, Northern Ireland

The real forte of Lagan Hostel is the staff, who are assuredly some of the best if not the best people I've ever dealt with in terms of hostel workers. The place has also never had a theft (Or so I was told), and there are decent facilities for lounging and eating. It's a bit of a walk to downtown from Lagan Hostel but there's lots of places to eat at and shop along the way. Just be sure (For all of you new Belfast travelers) that you bring a good supply of cash, as in my experience debit cards Grant, from USA ~ 2nd Sep 2009

Lagan hostel is extremely cheap but still has all the essentials. The building was clearly just a house up until recently, so its got no big shower rooms or anything like that, but the fella working there was great fun and always up for a chat, so if youre on a budget, I'd recommend it.
