Our facilities include: travel info, advice & bookings; full kitchen & laundry; clean linen & duvets; towels in private rooms; clean loos & hot showers; phone and fax access; satellite TV; breakfasts & home-cooked meals to order; free tea & coffee; cosy lounge with bar & sundowner balcony overlooking Long Street.

The dorm for 9 people has not enough air to breath and not enough space to feel comfortably. The staff was just available for some hours per day. There was not everything working that nice, especially the tap was running all the time. The balcony was nice where you can look at Longstreet and enjoy your self- made meals. This hostel was a great disappointment :( We left after the first night. The 'ensuite' bedroom was in fact a room so small that there was nowhere to put your bags, with a shower stuck in the corner of the room! The horrid toilet of this 'ensuite' bathroom was 3 floors down in a part of the hostel that looked like the back of a bottle store or mechanics. The communal showers were frightening and the frame of our bedroom door was coming off. Not to be repeated! Sarah, from South Africa ~ 28th Dec 2012
