The Royal Guest House is the one of the most charming and inexpensive guest houses in Chiang Mai. We are located in a tropical garden setting and close to the Night Bazaaz (the well known Chiang Mai shopping area) that is just 5 minutes walk.
The International airport, railway station and bus depot are all within 15 minute TukTuk or Song Thaews (local taxis) ride, and they are easily hailed from the Guest House. Our rooms are air-condition or fan, with private hot and cold shower.
We also offer you a comprehensive and varied choice of activities such as Trekking and Rafting. Come and see it for yourself!

Very much enjoyed my stay.Your big draw-card is the swimming pool.I'm surprised Lonely Planet didn't mention it.If they had I wouldn't have even considered anywhere else.Farangs struggle with the heat, so a pool is the best!Good service, above average food, very reasonable rates and I love the 2 kitties! I thought it was great! I loved the atmosphere of the lobby/restaurant/swimming pool area. If what you're looking for is comfort, this isn't the right place, since the beds are very hard and the rooms are very basic.
