Housed in a machiya, a traditional wooden townhouse, we have a variety of air-conditioned private and dormitory accommodation available.

The doors of private guestrooms are lockable. In the dormitory rooms, there are no door keys. However, we can offer a free locker to you. The male dormitory room is the attic room on the third floor. There are steep stairs when you go to bed.

We have 2 shared PCs. Also, we can offer Wi-Fi for your laptop or smart phone. However, when you use yours, we would like to ask that you keep quiet in your room late at night and in the early morning (11pm-8am).

The toilet and the shower room are shared by all of guests. It is hoped that keep available time (8am-11pm) of shower room.

We have a small kitchenette with a microwave, toaster, IH-heater and fridge. You can prepare simple meals but it's not equipped for cooking large meals that take a lot of time.

Breakfast (one person / a slice of toast) and tax are included in the price of any room type in hostel.

You can drink coffee, Japanese tea and English tea as much as you like. We also have an affiliated coffee shop in our neighbourhood. You can take the breakfast and coffee in there. Our guests can enjoy breakfast (only) there for 50% off the listed price.

We are conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from Gojo subway station, one stop from Kyoto JR station. There is a 24-hour food market and a public bath-house in our neighbourhood.

We rent several items to make your stay more comfortable, such as bath towels (100yen), face towels (50yen) and Yukata (night wear - 100yen) as well as coin-operated laundry facilities for around 500yen.

You can also rent a bike for 500yen per day, with a refundable deposit of 1,000yen. We can't offer the bike on your check-out day; we hope you understand.

For free you can use the hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner, body soap, the iron and ironing board, our games and guide books and the LAN internet line in the common room. There's no Wi-Fi in the rooms. You can also use rental TV in the private rooms.
