Welcome to Oyama Guesthouse.
Our hostel is located in the scenary spot with convenient access to the public transportations, it takes only 1 minute on foot from the JR station called Kami-Katsura Station. At our guest house, you can experience the combination of homestay and hostel at the same time in Kyoto as whole floor was made by traditional Tatamis ( straw mats ), and the real Tatamis could only be found in Japan.
During your stay, you could cook and eat with our family, hang out to have a short trip with our helpful host Madam Ooyama. We also speak fluent English and Korean. If you have language barrier, we will try our best to find the back up in advance.
There are two bunk beds for each room (four people will need to share the bathroom). You can also choose Tatami mats room.
Public Kitchen is available to all the guests from different background, we would happy to enjoy the global dinner weekend together.
It is small but homey hostel, it is your sweet home in Kyoto.
You will spend time with our family eat dinner or go to short trip some time , you will touch Japanese culture more easily.
