Kendal Hostel is an attractive Georgian townhouse in the histroric market town of Kendal. The hostel is situated infront of the well known Brewery Arts Centre with the front of the hostel leading onto Highgate that is only 200 yards from Kendal town centre.
Kendal hostel has 11 rooms avaliable that can cater for individuals, groups and also can be hired as a whole hostel. These 11 rooms can accomodate up to 48 guests per night. The 11 bedrooms range from 2-11 guests per room.
As the Hostel is self catering guests are welcome to use the kitchen, living room, dinning room and also wash facilities and drying room. We also have a secure bike shed that guests are welcome to use free of charge.
The hostel is very easily accesible by public transport but also by car as the M6, junction 36 is only 8 miles away.

Check in from 5pm to 8pm. (check in later than 20:00 can be prearranged by contacting the hostel).

Please note the hostel does not provide parking. The nearest parking is at the Brewery Arts Centre behind. The charge is £1.20 per hour or £7 for 24 hours but there is an overnight charge of £1.20 that takes the parking till 9am the next morning. Also there is FREE parking only a 5 minuet walk back to the hostel. The free parking has limited space and is not a secure car park. Secure car parking can be found near the riverside. The car park is locked overnight.

Located on the main st of Kendal it was excellent, a great Home vibe, great food next door at the brewery. The Lakes District in general was just excellent, my favourtie place in England :) Peter, from Australia ~ 16th Jul 2012

This place is lovely. It\'s very homey, the rooms are set up to give privacy to each person. Everything is clean, the kitchen is well stocked, The staff is VERY nice.
