Mazz Homestay offers an all-new hospitality experience in downtown Negombo. It is the ideal address for travelers who like to combine the excitement of a buzzing city with a normal tourist beach.
We will be happy to provide you with tips and a helping hand whenever you need it because we want to make sure that you have a great time in Negombo.
It is our goal that you return to your home with the feeling that you met new friends at Mazz. If that happens, we know that we have done the right thing and that indeed there are no strangers here, just friends you have not yet met.

Please take note that we are a backpackers hostel. All the facilities are on a sharing basis. Our place might not be suitable for anyone who is not used to the backpacking experience.
'Mazz Homestay' is the one and only Homestay located very close to Negombo Town. / (Main Bus Terminal & Train Station)
Check-out time is at 12noon and Check-in time is at 2pm. If you arrive earlier, we will store your luggage in the storage room. Just be patient and give us time to prepare the room for you.
We don't have facilities to handle card payments in-house. However, you can make a booking using your credit card or debit card through hostelworld.com or its affiliates.
Mazz Homestay is a hostel for international backpackers. Unfortunately we don't accept bookings by Sri Lankan nationals anymore. Reservations made by Sri Lankan nationals will deem to be void. It was quite a nice place with a very friendly owner. It is in fact a big flat with a big living room where the owner was living with his wife and child. There is a shared bathroom, but for the number of rooms (3) it is quite OK. It is located few meters from the Negombo central Bus station - so it is very easy to find. Large rooms, bathroom to share, but it is absolutely clean and functional. Perfect location for further traveling 2 min. to the bus terminal, 10 min. to the train station. A supermarket and food stalls just next corner. For beach it is the wrong place. There is a small sufficient equipped kitchen available.
