The B&B �The Cherry Tree� in Terralba is situated in the small village Tanca Marchese very close to centre. Located in a quiet area and surrounded by a private and small garden, the B&B is the ideal start point to explore the surroundings. Tonina and Erminio will be at your entire disposal to give you all the useful information for your journey in Sardinia.
Accomodation
The B&B is placed in a building of 2 floor plus a basement.
On the 2nd floor, there are two spacious and bright rooms with shared bath. In the first floor we have a double room with private bath. All the rooms have the central heating system, A/C, Tv and free Wi-Fi connection. On request two bicycle are available for free to daily excursion.
A continental breakfast will be served by the mistress of the house either in the main dining room on the 1st floor, also used as TV room and meet point for the guests, or in the outward garden (according to the season and to your preferences) with possibility of typical local products testing, if required.
The kitchen is available on request
Sightseeing
A lot of place of interest are worth to be visited but is certainly necessary to rent a car in order to move easily in the surrounding areas. Within 40 Km it is in fact possible to plan different interesting excursions.
From the ruins of the ancient Phoenician city of �Tharros�, to the ruins of the Punic-Roman Temple of �Antas�. The fans of nature should not miss the massif of the Arci Mountain (about 5 Km) or the well known Giara`s Horse in Gesturi (about 45 min by car) going on to the Nuragic Complex of Barumini, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list.
Few minutes by car you can reach the coast of �Arborea�, a long beach which is limited in the north side by the Pond �S`Ena Arrubia� (the red sand), of naturalistic interest for the huge concentration of wading birds and (in the central and southern zone) for the wide pinewood of �Arborea�, particularly suitable for bathing because of his huge dimension. If you want to go on you can reach the famous seaside resorts of �Torre Grande� (�Big Tower� 10 km), up to the beaches and bluffs of �Is Aruttas� (�The Rocks� to the North at about 40 Km) or �Torre dei Corsari� (�Tower of the corsairs� to the South at about 30 Km).
