Playa Grande Surf Camp Hostel in Playa Grande, Costa Rica

Playa Grande Surf Camp/Hostel is located inside the Parque Nacional Marino Las Baulas which is a refuge for the giant leatherback turtles that lay their eggs here every year between October and March. Also located in Playa Grande are several excellent beach breaks for surfing.

Guests can rent boards and surf 75 meters from the camp away from all the crowds of Tamarindo and the Main Break. The waves are absolutely perfect for beginner and intermediate surfers and we offer private and group lessons.

We have beds with or w/out air-conditioning, a cooking area, refrigerators and a pool. There are two bathrooms with showers.

Palm Beach Estates is one of the nicest beach neighborhoods in the country and has been able to avoid the vast majority of problems associated with over-development in Costa Rica.

The accommodation are simple, clean and very safe. We will gladly arrange transportation, rental cars, surf tours, turtle tours, or anything else that you may need.
