Casa Olmata in Rome, Italy

The front of the house looks terrible. Once in, things improve a bit. The room we got was big, it had kitchen and bathroom but it didn't seem very clean. The floor we were in had a terrible smell, I think it was were the laundry was located. The owner is the one in charge of everything and she is a very nice person. The food was really good, she makes the food herself and she offers transport to the airport. Service is what saves this hotel, and even then I don't think it is worth the stay. casa olmata firstly seems as a really old hostel which wont be really good. But the second impression is really good. I was very surprised by a really good staff around, AMAZING breakfast which is included, single beds only for you, not 10 people in the room as usually. The location is more than greatin order to Termini station, Via Cavour etc. Just can only to recommend this for you guys, enjoy your stay in Rome ! Barbora, from Czech Republic ~ 3rd Oct 2012
