In Ivanhoe Hostel we help you get the complete experience - visit the city, meet people from all over the world, have a drink and go out by night, too.
If you enjoy the company of many people and love hanging out for a few drinks then this is the place for you. Whether you're travelling solo or with your friends you'll enjoy your stay. Luckily, we have some of the most comfortable dorm beds in Rome, so this will help ease your hangover the next morning.
Located in the oldest quarter of Rome, the birthplace of Julius Caesar, just minutes away from the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, we're conveniently located within walking distance of Ancient Rome. It's an ideal location to start seeing the sites (after you recover from the night before!).
Our international and multilingual staff will make you feel at home immediately and arm you with all the information you need to make the most out of your Roman adventure.
We have air-conditioning on summer days and heating on the cold ones. There's also 24-hour reception so you don't have to worry about a curfew. We hope you enjoy your stay with us!
We have Wi-Fi, Internet access and a common area. Linen is included in the rooms. A full breakfast is available for €2.
Airport transfer is available. Please ask us about it after booking.
There is a lockout from 11am to 4pm daily, to facilitate cleaning.
Please note that this is a youth hostel, so age restrictions apply. You must be between 18-35 years to stay here.

Check-out: 10am. Payment is due upon check-in in cash only, please. We have a 48hr cancellation policy. Cancellations must be made by email or fax only; we do not accept phone cancellations. Travellers that book with a debit card must call to confirm before midday on the date of arrival; the reservation will be accepted only if arrival is before 6pm. If you cannot meet these conditions you may risk losing your bed. Since the 1st January 2011, Rome City Council has charged a 2 tourist tax per person per night for visitors to Rome. We are sorry but this is unfortunately not included in our rates and will be added to your balance at arrival.
