The Utah International Hostel is a family owned business since 2002. We are proud of our hostel and most of all, we love what we do. We are very thankful for the opportunity that we have to serve others and we follow the golden rule, in that we treat others as we would like to be treated.
We are located in the heart of Salt Lake City, Utah. The Salt Lake Palace, Temple Square, The Delta Center, and the new Gateway Mall are within walking distance.
The Salt Lake City International Airport is 10 min away.
Transportation from airport to hostel is provided at no cost with previous arrangements. Bus Stations and trax are near. We also provide free internet access as well as cable T.V.All-in-all our hostel provides great accommodation, and a secure and friendly environment.
We are only five blocks east of Temple Square, the Conference Center, Family History Center, Energy Solutions Arena, and the Salt Palace Convention Center. If you like shopping or night clubs, we are only five minutes, walking distance, away from the Gateway Mall and the downtown area.

Because this hostel is mainly used for people needing longer-term stays, many of whom have very little income, cutlery kept on going missing. If I go there again I will most certainly bring my own cutlery (as many of their guests do). My private room had a lock on it that would easily be by-passed with a credit card. The bathrooms were clean. Air conditioning was better in some parts of the building than in others. I felt safe enough, and others seemed to feel the same way. Ian, from Canada ~ 4th Jul 2012
