R.K. Hostel is in the heart of Little Italy. Within walking distance to downtown San Diego and San Diego Bay. 2 streets away from San Diego harbor tours. Close to many area attractions such as Seaport Village, Petco Park, San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Balboa Park and severeal museums. San Diego's famous Anthology club is just blocks away.
Close to clubs, restaurant row and shopping.
Please understand that while we try our best, and generally succeed, we can not guarantee that we will always be able to get you in the same room for your entire stay. If booking one or more beds we may not be able to get all your beds in the same room. This is particularly true in our busy summer months of July and August. If this is a problem please call the hostel before booking to check what is available.

Breakfast and snacks offered. A happy relaxed atmosphere! We also have coupons for Sea World, McDonald's and Knott's Soak City. There is plenty of free on-street parking.

The overall experience is average for a hostel. The reasons for that low rating: The two bathrooms are not enough for all the people, but they are nicely made. There is no hot water if several people had a shower before. The room was not vacuumed before we moved in. The kitchen is not very clean and there are no kitchen towels. That should not be expected to be brought. Also, coffee cups were a rare thing. Positive points: clearly the location, friendliness, free WiFi, refrigerator in the room. I got a little annoyed with the owner treating me like he was my dad. They were not in tune with my online reservation. no big deal. Besides that, the place was very clean, the staff were genuine and warm. The building reminded me of a charmingly hauntingold style New Orleans mansion or something. Very seductive and safe.
