City Hostel Seattle is located in a newly renovated 1920\'s hotel, so character runs rampant through our halls! So do Mae West and Humphrey Bogart, in art form as this historic hotel used to house all the movie stars back in the day! Brand new bathrooms and kitchens. The rooms are designed and painted by over 47 different local Seattle artists!
Come appreciate and take part in our Art Hostel, open minds are a must!

It's my second time staying in a hostel, and the experience was superior. The staffs are super friendly. I stayed in a 4 bed female dorm and there is a bathroom in room, which is super nice. The room had paintings on the wall. Me and my roommates all enjoyed it. Jingwei, from China ~ 19th May 2013

This 50yr mom and 19yr daughter were trying hostels for the first time.We tried two different places in SEA on this weekend.This hostel took second place.Short walk to Pike Market and waterfront.There are no curtains or privacy within the shared bedrooms.Plugs-ins hard to locate and no individual lighting or fans.The bunkbeds are lightweight and move when you move. Lockers small and in room of six there were only four available.Had to leave by 7 and breakfast started at 8am...:( Joan, from USA ~ 9th May 2013
