International House of Peace is a brand new (June 2012) renovated and modern Guest House. It's ideal for people who value high standard, relaxed and homelike environment where you can cook your own meals or relax in the living room after a long day of sight seeing.
What sets this guest house apart (other than the focus on calm and peace) is that literally everything in it, is brand new. New beds, new furniture, kitchen, couch, chairs... everything.
Each private room has a single bed, a desk, chair, closet and a unique key that locks for safety.
Besides your private room, you share:
A brand new, fully equipped kitchen and dining room.
A living room/lounge with a comfy couch.
FREE WiFi.
Bathroom is shared with maximum 3 other people.
The house is situated in a very calm, quiet and peaceful area in the middle of St Julian's and Sliema (Balluta Bay). It takes you away from the heavy traffic, street and nightlife noise but is less than 400 meters from beaches, Sliema shopping district, buses, restaurants and stores. Paceville (Malta's biggest clubbing area) is about 15 minutes walk away, close... but not too close. You'll see why that's a good thing if you pass there on a busy night.
St Julians is an all year round type of town. Compared to the rest of the island which is relatively lifeless during the winter season, you can always count on nice restaurants, a wide variety of clubs and bars, beaches, stores and supermarkets all within 5-10 minutes walk from the Guest House.
Getting from the airport to the International Guest House of Peace with public transportation is a big time waster though, that's why I offer private pickups right from the arrival gate to my front door for the same price as regular taxi. Saving you almost 2 hours of pulling luggage across the island.
Please note that our cancellation policy is 72 hours before arrival.
This is a luxuriously finished apartment situated in a very calm and peaceful area of St Julians/Swieqi. I had been in that house for more than 3 weeks. It\'s very nice place to stay during your holiday and I recommend it to whom wants to stay in a place that has a good location to reach to the best places of Malta (St Julian\'s and Sliema) by walking!
