Hostel Villa Mary is a place you can call home during your stay in Taganga. We are located in the heart of the town, approx. 2 blocks from the beach.
Our goal at Hostel Villa Mary is to provide you with a comfortable, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. You can spend the day reading a book in one of our hammocks or make new friends while sitting around our family style dinning table. Also, speak to our friendly English/Spanish speaking staff about restaurant and tour recommendations.
Our hostel has 9 rooms with 31 beds. We have a dormitory room and private rooms available with air conditioning. Also, all of our rooms have private bathrooms and ceiling fans as well.
The hostel features the following amenities for your convenience:
Open kitchen, fully equipped
BBQ/Gas Grill, Internet, Book exchange, Laundry service, Money Exchange, Free filtered water, Cable TV/DVD, Towel/Linen service, Personal lockers, Security Safe to store your valuables
If you like to be near the party, but not in the party our hostel is for you!!!

A nice family owns the place, but don't expect anything in the way of a community feel. I stayed here in a private room while I got my PADI diving certification, and it was great for that purpose because it was quiet and I could study/go to sleep early. Note that they lock the front door and don't give you a key, so if you are planning to stay out late (and when I say late, I mean later than 10 p.m., lol), you're forced to wake them up to get the door open.
