We're very proud to introduce our first branch hostel--Taipei City Hostel to all of our friends who have ever stayed in Taipei Backpackers Hostel before, and you who are now planning to come to Taipei to become our new friend in the future days.
Our brand new Taipei City Hostel is located in XimenDing, where is the most famous and popular place among Taiwanese young people for its easy having fun and shopping in Taipei. In addition, it only takes 5mins to arrive by walking from MRT Ximen stop, the one next to MRT Taipei Main Station Stop. Moreover, ther is an airport bus stop across the street. You'll find it surprisingly convenient to get to hostel from the airport or leaving to take your flight.
In May 2010, we're very lucky to find this 1958 built 4-storied building on a less crowded street in the lively Ximen area. After nearly 3 months interior renovation and facelifting, it is now reborn and beautifully standing as a hostess to invite travellers to share the clean, comfortable and cozy stay.
We ensure you budget accommodation in the high quality facilities equipped environment with thoughtful service here, hopefully making you feel being respected but cared as family. We value this as our mission statement.

Pros: The password based key system was very convenient.Hot water available.Fantastic location.Friendly staff.Relatively clean. Cons: Bathroom and Shower were a bit cramped though, and it was awkward to have the sink right next to the computers.Did not know in advance that the room was windowless. Nicely furnished hostel, surprised that there is a small tv at the ensuite. Nice staffs. Free lockers that you can use after checkout. However, thin walls which you can hear others opening the door, talking, walking. couldn\'t really fall asleep on the first night.
