How to come to your hostel

* Airport (8KM, 25 RMB through taxi)

After exiting the airport take bus no. 67 to Bailong Lu (白龙路). Cross the street and take bus no. 95 to Qingyun Jie (青云街). After exiting the bus walk forward 100 m and turn left at the first stoplight (Damei Yuanxiang, 大梅园巷). Upland will be located immediately on your right-hand side.



* Train station (4KM, 15RMB through taxi)


By Bus: Take bus no. 2 from the Kunming Train Station (昆明火车站) to Wenmiao (文庙). After you exit the bus, you have two choices. You can walk about 600 meters (see map). Or walk towards the intersection of Zhengyi Lu (正义路) and Renmin Zhonglu (人民中路). When you reach the intersection, turn left, where you will find Zhengyi LuKou (正义路口) bus stop. From there, take bus no. 1 to Qingyun Jie (青云街). After exiting the bus walk back 100m and turn left at the first stoplight (Damei Yuanxiang, 大梅园巷). The large wooden entrance on your right-hand side is the entrance to Upland.



* Bus stations:

There are five bus stations in Kunming, but two biggest stations are the South Station ( bus to border of Laos , Jinghong , Yuanyang ..)and the West Station(bus to Dli ,Lijiang...).



Kunming West Bus Station (昆明西部汽车客运站) (8 KM ,25 yuan through taxi)



Take bus no. 80 to XiHua Yuan (西华园, 10th stop). Transfer to bus no. 95 and get off at Qingyun Jie (青云街). After exiting the bus, turn back, walk back 100 m and turn left at the first stoplight (Damei Yuanxiang, 大梅园巷). The large wooden entrance on your right-hand side is the entrance to Upland





PS.The buses of Kunming are all without conductors so that you`d better have 1yuan coins. You can only get on the bus at the front door and get off at the back door.
